Artessa is a small, independent coffee roastery based in the west of Ireland, roasting specialty and certified organic coffees for customers across Ireland and Europe.
Founded in 2009 by Hungarian-born architect Georgia Visnyei, Artessa draws on European café culture and a deep respect for quality and balance. All coffees are roasted in small batches using carefully sourced, specialty-grade green beans and a considered medium roast style that highlights natural sweetness and clarity of flavour. Artessa’s organic Temptation blend was awarded Gold at the Aurora International Taste Challenge and shortlisted for Blas na hÉireann Irish food awards, reflecting the roastery’s consistent focus on quality. Coffees are roasted to order in Ireland, with an emphasis on freshness, traceability, and responsible sourcing, and are supplied to both home brewers and like-minded cafés and retailers. At its core, Artessa is about thoughtful roasting, honest relationships, and making beautiful coffee part of daily life.
