Organic Processing Investment Grant Scheme
The Organic Processing Investment Grant Scheme aims to help the development of the organic sector so as to ensure a regular supply of high quality organic produce to the market.
The Scheme is open to organic operators who:
- are licensed organic operators registered with an approved organic certification body.
- are currently registered with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
- own or have leasehold title to the site on which it is proposed to carry out the development.
- agree to provide relevant bank/building society/credit union details to ensure that all payments made by the Department are paid by electronic fund transfer.
- provide a copy of Business Plan as per Annex A of the terms & conditions where the value of the application is greater than €90,000 excluding VAT.

Steps to Certification
Call the Organic Trust Office on 045 882377 to request an application pack, or click here to download or complete online
Following review of your application form, we will organise an inspection of your premises at a time convenient to you.
Your inspector will submit an inspection report which will be reviewed by our certification panel. If everything is in order you will be issued with your first in-conversion licence.

Please note to maintain your organic licence thereafter you are required to submit your Annual Return Form and fee, and be inspected on an annual basis.
