  • Payments under the Organic Farming Scheme will be available to operators if the OFS re-opens for new applications later in 2016. The rules of the most recent OFS scheme launched in December 2015 are available by clicking on attached .pdf. We shall provide a link to the 2016/2017 scheme rules as soon as the scheme is re-opened for new entrants to organics. All OFS applications are on-line applications via www.agfood.ie – as the Organic Farming Scheme is not currently open for applications, no applications for payment under the scheme can be made at the present time.

Organic Demonstration Farm Walk Program 2016-2017

We are delighted to provide information of the 2016-2017 Organic Demonstration Farm Walk Programme. The walks commence on 10th October 2016 and culminate on July 5th 2017. All current and potential organic producers are invited to attend at least some of these farm walks to see at first hand a range of organically certified enterprises. The Organic Trust ensures that a fully qualified Organic Inspector is available at each farm walk to answer any technical or other queries which attendees may have.
