  • Payments under the Organic Farming Scheme will be available to operators if the OFS re-opens for new applications later in 2016. The rules of the most recent OFS scheme launched in December 2015 are available by clicking on attached .pdf. We shall provide a link to the 2016/2017 scheme rules as soon as the scheme is re-opened for new entrants to organics. All OFS applications are on-line applications via www.agfood.ie – as the Organic Farming Scheme is not currently open for applications, no applications for payment under the scheme can be made at the present time.

Organic Delights - Denis Healy.

Denis Healy is one of the longest established organic growers in Ireland. Denis has had a significant involvement in the development of the Irish organic sector through participation as a former member of the Board of Management of the Organic Trust. Denis has an enviable reputation in the area of organic growing - a passion which continues unabated.

Denis works very closely with his son Duncan in managing both the farm and importation/distribution business.  A very wide range of organic produce is regularly imported from bone fide organically certified overseas producers.
