  • Payments under the Organic Farming Scheme will be available to operators if the OFS re-opens for new applications later in 2016. The rules of the most recent OFS scheme launched in December 2015 are available by clicking on attached .pdf. We shall provide a link to the 2016/2017 scheme rules as soon as the scheme is re-opened for new entrants to organics. All OFS applications are on-line applications via www.agfood.ie – as the Organic Farming Scheme is not currently open for applications, no applications for payment under the scheme can be made at the present time.

Kenmare Adult Education.

Kenmare Adult Education provides a range of horticultural courses. Essentially this is a VEC Community College teaching adults courses in organic horticulture from Fetac Level 3 and 4 to specialised courses up to level 6.

Courses are provided throughout the year - Fetac Level 3 to 5 plus shorter courses and workshops. Full course brochure available from:
