The Department of Agriculture, Food & The Marine offers a range of financial incentives to assist those interested in getting involved in organic production. In addition capital grants are available for the purchase of specific equipment
Pedigree Dexter beef cattle, outdoor, rare-breed, pigs, sheep and poultry, farmed on the shores of Lough Key near Boyle, Co. Roscommon, by Liam and Justina Gavin. Also a small market garden growing salads and vegetables.
Produce can be sampled at the Drumanilra Farm Kitchen on Elphin Street, in Boyle, where we serve food made with ingredients produced on the farm, including our signature Dexter burgers, steaks, salads, vegetarian and gluten free food. We also serve scones, sweet things, barista coffee and speciality teas. Our farm produce, including our Dexter burgers, steaks, dry cure rashers, sausages, hams, salads, vegetables and eggs can be purchased from our small shop and deli at the Drumanilra Farm Kitchen, and will soon be available to order from our website, currently under construction.
