  • Payments under the Organic Farming Scheme will be available to operators if the OFS re-opens for new applications later in 2016. The rules of the most recent OFS scheme launched in December 2015 are available by clicking on attached .pdf. We shall provide a link to the 2016/2017 scheme rules as soon as the scheme is re-opened for new entrants to organics. All OFS applications are on-line applications via www.agfood.ie – as the Organic Farming Scheme is not currently open for applications, no applications for payment under the scheme can be made at the present time.

Clarkes Salmon Smokery.

The Clarke family in Ballina have been synonymous with wild Irish salmon since Jackie Clarke first set up business in Ballina in 1945. A family run concern, now managed by a second generation of Clarkes, ensures that the traditional values from which it started are maintained and carried on.

Clarke's Salmon Smokery won silver and bronze medals at the Blas na hEireann Irish Food Awards for their hot and cold smoked organic salmon!
