  • Payments under the Organic Farming Scheme will be available to operators if the OFS re-opens for new applications later in 2016. The rules of the most recent OFS scheme launched in December 2015 are available by clicking on attached .pdf. We shall provide a link to the 2016/2017 scheme rules as soon as the scheme is re-opened for new entrants to organics. All OFS applications are on-line applications via www.agfood.ie – as the Organic Farming Scheme is not currently open for applications, no applications for payment under the scheme can be made at the present time.

Certified by the Organic Trust, Castleruddery Organic Farm is one of the longest established organically certified farms in Ireland.

Castleruddery Organic Farm has been producing a wide range of organically certified vegetables and herbs in the naturally rich foothills of the Wicklow Mountains since 1989.

We also carefully import organic fruit and vegetables to ensure customers can buy organic food all year round. Our produce is available at the Farm Shop in Castleruddery on Fridays; also at the Leopardstown Farmers Market on Fridays and at the Naas Farmers Market on Saturdays
