Camphill Community Ballybay, Co Monaghan - a life sharing community with adults with special needs, is looking for a person to take on their well developed, 30 hectare, bio-dynamic farm situated in the lovely rolling hills of Co. Monaghan in Ireland.
The farm’s activities include cattle (milk & beef), sheep, pigs, chickens and pasture management. The farm team is made up of a number of volunteers and includes some of our residents with special needs.
We would love to hear from anyone with organic or bio-dynamic farming experience who would be keen to take on our well equipped state of the art farm.
We would envisage the successful candidate becoming part of the community with accommodation, food, transport, plus an allowance provided. All negotiable.
The position would suit someone who has recently completed a bio-dynamic training and is looking to deepen their experience or alternatively someone with farming experience who would like to undertake a bio-dynamic farming training/apprenticeship.
